<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-jet printer which can form high-definition images to textiles. <P>SOLUTION: The ink-jet printer 1 forms the image by discharging an ultraviolet curing ink by ink-jet system recording heads 5, 6, 7 and 8 onto a recording medium 99, and then hardens and fixes the ink impacting on the recording medium by irradiating ultraviolet rays from ultraviolet irradiation devices 9 and 10. The recording medium is the textile, and the ink includes a pigment. A control part 50 is set which controls a minimum liquid droplet amount of the ink discharged from each nozzle of the recording heads to be 2-10 pl per discharge, and a printing resolution on the recording medium to be 600 dpi or higher. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
