<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a beverage extraction apparatus which makes the apparatus itself simple and compact while shortening a time required for the extraction of the beverage. <P>SOLUTION: In the apparatus, a flexible tube 7 is connected to an extraction container 2, and provided with a tube type pump 8 comprising a tube guide 8a having an inner circumferential surface with an arcuate surface formed thereon and a rotor 8c having a plurality of rollers 8b on the circumference thereof. A tube 7 is so arranged along the arcuate surface formed on the inner circumferential surface of the tube guide 8a as to be held between the roller 8b and the tube guide, the rotor 8c is rotated in one direction to force the air into the extraction container 2 to stir up the mixture of a powder material and the hot water, and then, rotated in the other direction so that a negative pressure is generated to work on the extraction container 2 thereby extracting the beverage through a filter 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
