<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce a moving image by decoding the moving image data stream of a JPEG 2000 file adaptable to moving image in a reproduction environment different from the JPEG 2000 file adaptable to moving image. <P>SOLUTION: This apparatus is provided with a frame extractor 11 for extracting information relating to the moving image data stream from the JPEG 2000 file adaptable to moving image, and inputting or skipping as necessary the moving image data stream for each frame on the basis of an input control signal to extract the compressed image data stream of a reproduction frame; a stream terminator 12 for inputting the compressed image data stream of the reproduction stream, adding a terminating code at a position corresponding to the terminating control signal, and outputting it to a JPEG 2000 decoding section 21; and a reproduction control unit 13 for computing an input position and a terminating position of the compressed image data stream of the reproduction frame on the basis of a reproduction environment condition of external setting and the related information, and generating an input control signal and a terminating control signal on the basis of the result of the computation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
