PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and flat camera which can be held especially in a small-sized handbag. SOLUTION: The camera is provided with a front lens group 21 having a first optical axis, a rear lens group 22 having a second optical axis and a reflection element 23 which bends the first optical axis and join it to the second optical axis, and further a lens system contains a lens of non-rotation symmetry shape.
