<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inflator simplifying wiring work from an igniter to a power source. <P>SOLUTION: The inflator is provided with one igniter 36 and first gas discharge holes 34, 46 separately arranged. After a first rupture plate 38 is destroyed by the operation of the igniter 36, destructive energy is transferred in a transfer tube 24.
