SARS CORONAVIRUS PEPTIDES AND USES THEREOF

Antibody-binding peptides encoded by portions of the genome of a virus that causes Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) are provided. The use of the peptides and arrays comprising the peptides in the diagnosis of SARS, to determine the stage of a SARS infection, or to identify individuals who have previously been infected with a virus that causes SARS are also provided. The peptides can also be used in the preparation of vaccines for the treatment or prophylaxis of SARS.
