<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a color filter for a transflective liquid crystal display device having respectively desired color characteristics both in a reflective display and in a transmissive display in a high yield. <P>SOLUTION: The color filter for the transflective liquid crystal display device in which pixels with a plurality of colors wherein each of the pixels contains two regions with Y values different from each other are arranged, is characterised in that a resin layer other than a coloring layer is formed on at least a boundary part of the two regions, with the Y values different from each other, of a pixel with at least one color, and it has a region with the resin layer other than the coloring layer formed thereon except for a display region of the color filter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
