<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container for purifying soil for suitably fixing wood rotting fungi on soil, to provide a compound material of the container for purifying soil and a plant and to provide a method for purifying soil. <P>SOLUTION: The compound material 1 of the container for purifying soil and the plant has a container body 21 enabling the roots 11 of the plant 10 to pass through the outside and formed from a biodegradable material, the container 20 for purifying soil having wood rotting fungi 5 capable of coming in contact with the roots 11 and inoculated to the medium of the container body 21, and the plant 10 planted in the container 20 for purifying soil.
