PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform crime preventive operation by detecting forced opening of a shutter curtain in a totally closed position without providing a seat plate switch in controlling driving of a shutter provided with a braking device, by a control device. SOLUTION: A control part 7a is provided with detecting sensors 8, 9 for detecting the rotation of the shutter 4 and the opening/closing position of an opening/closing body; a braking force reducing means for reducing the braking force of the braking device 6 in a range from the totally closed position to a slightly open side position to about 50% following the shutter curtain 1 being put in the totally closed position; and a crime preventing means for performing crime preventive operation following the input of a rotation detection signal in spite of no input of an opening command signal when the shutter curtain 1 is in the totally closed position.
