PURPOSE: A safety device for a drop lifter is provided to improve productivity and stability by preventing the drop lifter and an object to be moved from being damaged by the free falling of a moving body when a chain member is broken down. CONSTITUTION: A drop lifter having a safety device is composed of a frame(10), a driving motor(20) mounted to the frame, a sprocket(30) mounted to the frame and interlocked with the driving motor, a moving body(40) on which an object to be moved is placed, a locking rail member(45), a chain member(50) mounted to the sprocket and mounted with a balance weight(51) at one end, and a locking assembly having a rotation stopper member and a base mounted with a rotation control unit. The moving body is movably mounted on a rail member(41) installed in a longitudinal direction of the frame. The locking rail member is mounted adjacently to the rail member in a longitudinal direction of the rail member. A plurality of fixing protrusions are formed at the side of the locking rail member. The rotation stopper member is mounted rotatably to the other end of the chain member, and has a hooked portion hooked in the fixing protrusions. The rotation control unit is coupled to the moving body, hinged to the rotation stopper member, and controls the rotation of the rotation stopper member. |
