PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of floating or looseness of a nut inside a lead wire connection part of a switch for an electric tool. SOLUTION: In this switch for the electric tool, the lead wire connection part 3 is formed in a housing 2, and a pair of a screw 6 and the nut 5 are arranged through a connecting terminal 10 in a direction perpendicular to the inserting direction of a lead wire 7 into the lead wire connection part 3, and the lead wire is inserted between the connecting terminal and the nut, and the screw is turned to fasten the lead wire for fixation. A holding means for preventing floating and looseness of the nut is provided inside the lead wire connection part to prevent the occurrence of floating and looseness of the nut inside the lead wire connection part.
