A lock casing (1) which can be built into the door frame is used to house the spring mechanism (6, 7) for the closure bar (5) and the release mechanism (15, 19) for this bar. <??>The device comprises a closure bar, a spring mechanism and a catch device (11, 12) for the release mechanism. The closure bar can be slid outwards into a locking position against the force exerted by the spring mechanism, in order to keep the fire door open. The catch device fixes the closure bar in the locking position and the bar is released from this position when a control signal is received by the release mechanism. |
