Engine output divide factor determination method between power produced by fuel converter and electric motor of hybrid vehicle, determines adaptive equivalence factor for weighting electrical energy consumption value

The method involves determining an adaptive equivalence factor (EF) for weighting an electrical energy consumption value (EEU) which is dependant on engine output divide factor (PSF), in a cost function (CF). The method further involves determining the minimum of cost function, using the formula; CF = FEU + EF X EEU; whereby fuel energy consumption value (FEU) is dependent on engine output divide factor (PSF). The extraction of engine output divide factor (PSF) for the minimum cost function (CF) is achieved. An independent claim is also included for the power transmission of the hybrid vehicle.
