<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phase change type optical recording medium having satisfactory recording sensitivity even to light having a short wavelength and low output such as a blue laser, free from the occurrence of noise such as jitter, having excellent O/W characteristics and satisfactory archival characteristics and realizing high density recording. <P>SOLUTION: The phase change type optical recording medium has at least a first recording structure layer, a resin intermediate layer 6 and a second recording structure layer 200 on a substrate 1 in this order. The first recording structure layer has a reflection layer 2, a first interface layer 14, a first protective layer 3, a first recording layer 4 and a second protective layer 5 in this order from the substrate 1 side, the second recording structure layer has a third protective layer 7, a heat radiation layer 8, a second interface layer 15, a fourth protective layer 9, a second recording layer 10, a fifth protective layer 11 and a sixth protective layer in this order from the resin intermediate layer 6 side and the third and the sixth protective layers are translucent layers having ≥70% light transmittance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
