摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescence measuring instrument using reflection-type spectroscopic mirrors, which is an instrument for performing more precise measurement by reducing stray light. SOLUTION: In this fluorescence measuring instrument, excitation light from an excitation light source 12 is reflected by the surfaces of spectroscopic mirrors 16a to 16d while the reflected excitation light is irradiated to a gaseous specimen to detect the intensity of then generated fluorescence 25 by a fluorescence detector 22. Material that absorbs light of a wavelength band detectable by the fluorescence detector is used as mirror base material of the spectroscopic mirrors. For example, as for an SO<SB>2</SB>measuring instrument using a xenon flash lamp as the light source, light of wavelength 220 nm is reflected by the surfaces of the the spectroscopic mirrors while the base material of the spectroscopic mirrors absorbs light of wavelength of 400 nm or less.
