<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus in which when a high precision rotor such as the photoreceptor of an image forming apparatus is fitted, accuracy after fitting of the high precision rotor is maintained in relation to the drive system problem, which is caused by eccentricity and a tilt decrease in a high precision rotor, such as a photoreceptor drive gear, in a fitted state, detachment is allowed, maintainability and fitting accuracy are obtained at the same time, a color smear is less, and high image quality is steadily obtained. <P>SOLUTION: Between the precision rotor of the image forming apparatus and the rotating center shaft, an intermediate layer that is detachable from at least one of them is located. When the intermediate layer is uncured, it is rendered low viscous by high frequency vibration. By removal of the vibration, it returns to a high viscous state that is original.
