PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission type screen prevented from giving the sense of incongruity caused by the distortion of reflection while obtaining such image quality as that of a direct viewing CRT-TV. SOLUTION: As for the transmission type screen used by combining screen members consisting of a plurality of sheets or film which can be taken up for transmitting, diffusing and condensing light, the surface roughness Ra of the light emitting part of the screen member positioned nearest to an observer side is 0μm≤Ra≤0.5μm and the warpage amount D of the screen member is -10 mm≤D≤15 mm.
