<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device which can surely correct the discrepancy of timing at start of turn off among two or more self-arc-extinguishing switching elements connected in series. <P>SOLUTION: This semiconductor device is equipped with a switching timing correction circuit 13, which includes differential voltage detection means 21-24 for detecting the differential voltage between both, by comparing the voltage between collector-emitter terminals, when a prescribed time has elapsed after start of turning off of switching elements 6a and 6b with a preset reference voltage, and switching control signal correction means 25-27 for correcting the fall timing of a switching control signal, based on this time correction, by converting the integrated value of these differential voltages into a time correction corresponding to it. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
