OUTDOOR UNIT FOR AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outdoor unit for an air conditioning system for reducing frequency of defrosting operation and improving the efficiency of heating operation by suppressing the formation of frost during heating operation. SOLUTION: The outdoor unit for the air conditioning system comprises a heat exchanger 5 stored in a casing 4 of the upward blow type outdoor unit and erected in opposition to an air inlet 3 and having an overcooling heat exchanger part 5S on a heat exchange unit train 5l1in the first row on the air inlet side. The overcooling heat exchanger part 5S has a length being 20-50% of the total length of the heat exchange unit train 5l1in the first row, and it is arranged at the lower part of the heat exchange unit train 5l1in the first row.
