The wall plug system comprises an inner (20) and an outer (10) tube. The outer tube has a slit (11) through its complete length and other slits (12) which cover only part of its length. The inner tube also has similar slits (21, 22) which do not coincide with the first set when the tubes are assembled. The inner tube also has depressed areas (23) which are spread when a screw (40) is inserted and screwed into a spiral spring (30) at its base.
