<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sewage passage washing method and a sewage passage washing apparatus which can easily wash a sewage passage. <P>SOLUTION: Activated sludge 9 is fed to the upstream side of a sewage retention region 7 in the sewage passage 5 to be retained in the sewage retention region 7.
