BIOLOGICAL CARRIER HOLDING MEMBER FOR SEWAGE SEPTIC TANK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biological carrier holding member (for a sewage septic tank) capable of preventing flooding to a next tank and capable of easily performing sampling at the time of maintenance and inspection or measuring BOD in a liquid and the pH or the like of the liquid. SOLUTION: Protrusions 3 upwardly protruded from a planar plate part 2 are formed to obtain the almost planar plate-shaped water passing biological carrier holding member 1. The protrusions 3 preferably occupy an area which is 10-60% of the total area of the biological carrier holding member 1 on a plan view and the height (L1) of the protrusions 3 is set so as to be exposed by about 10-100 mm from a liquid surface (WL) when the biological carrier holding member 1 is used in a general household septic tank.
