PURPOSE: A method for initializing a BSM(Base Station Manager) GUI(Graphic User Interface) in a WLL(WireLess LAN) mobile system is provided to increase the reliability of a base station GUI by automatically matching the actual state of a base station with the data of the base station GUI without the necessity of executing a special BSM command through a BSM when the base station GUI screen is initially activated as the BSM is driven for the first time. CONSTITUTION: A BSM, simultaneously and initially driven with a plurality of base stations and a control station, initializes the fault and status information of the base stations and the control station(S1). The BSM judges whether a specific base station is the first activated base station(S2). In case that the specific base station is the first activated base station, the BSM transfers an inspection command to an associated block through a system fault/status inspection management part in order to confirm the fault and status information of hardware and software for the specific base station(S3). The BSM receives a response data message for the inspection command through a message processing part(S4). The BSM reflects received response data message into a base station GUI through a BSM GUI processing part and displays relevant result information(S5).
