YOKE ASSEMBLY FOR STARTER, INCLUDING COMMUTATING POLES HAVING HEIGHTS AS SAME AS OR LOWER THAN HEIGHTS OF MAGNETS

PURPOSE: A yoke assembly is provided to protect commutating poles and magnets by permitting commutating poles to have heights as same as or lower than the heights of magnets. CONSTITUTION: A yoke assembly(20) comprises a plurality of magnets(22) and commutating poles(23) attached along an inner surface thereof; and a holder(24) for holding the magnets and the commutating poles. Each of the commutating poles attached along the inner surface of a yoke(21) of the yoke assembly has a thickness(T1) same as or smaller than a thickness(T2) of each of the magnets attached along the inner surface of the yoke of the yoke assembly, to thereby prevent damage of the commutating poles and the magnets.
