SPHERICAL HARD CARBONS HAVING LARGE BULK DENSITY AND SMALL SPECIFIC AREA AND BATTERY COMPRISING THE SAME

PURPOSE: To provide a spherical hard carbon that has a large bulk density and a small specific area and is simply prepared, and a battery comprising the same. CONSTITUTION: The spherical hard carbon comprising at least 10 wt.% of spherical particles satisfying a following equation of 0.99<=a/b<=1. In the equation, a is the minor axis of the particles, and b is the major axis of the particles. The battery comprises the spherical hard carbon as a cathode material.
