PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a convenient copier by providing a control means, capable of switching from a copying function to a facsimile function by a function- switching means, even when a printing restricting means restricts print outputting operation. SOLUTION: The default of copying and facsimile can be switched by a dip switch, etc., corresponding to the desired of a user and at the time of automatic reset, a mode is decided by this dip switch. When the device is not operated for not less than a fixed time (one minute, e.g.), automatic reset is made. When it is in a facsimile mode by user's selection, a copy mode is set but when it is not user select, the copy mode is returned to the initial state. Switching by this facsimile/copy switching switch is possible, even when there is no a key counter. The key counter is nothing but a counter for copying and has nothing to do with the facsimile. |
