PURPOSE: A diagnostic kit for liver cirrhosis comprising an antibody specific for human protooncogenic protein is provided, which kit has improved diagnosis accuracy and reproduction, so that it can be useful for diagnosis of liver cirrhosis at an early stage. CONSTITUTION: The diagnostic kit for liver cirrhosis comprises (1) an antibody specific for human HCCR-2 protein(GenBank Accession No. AF315598); (2) a positive control containing HCCR-2 standard antigen and a negative control containing anti-serum of animal without the antigen; (3) a second antibody-marker conjugate; (4) a chromogenic substrate solution which is reacted with the marker; (5) a cleaning solution; and (6) an enzyme reaction terminating solution, wherein the marker is selected from HRP(horse radish peroxidase), alkaline phosphatase, colloid gold, fluorescein and dye; and the chromogenic substrate is selected from TMB(3,3',5,5'-tetramethyl bezidine), ABTS(2,2'-azino-bis(3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid)) and OPD(o-phenylenediamine).
