PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve accuracy in measuring current-voltage characteristics by precisely computing approximate expressions and measuring peak points even if a rush current is affected by noise etc. SOLUTION: This current-voltage characteristics measuring apparatus is provided with measuring means 21-23 for measuring a discharge current and a terminal voltage of a battery 16 and a first computing means 24 for determining a first expression for forming approximations of a plurality of measurement values measured by the measuring means 21-23 when the rush current monotonously increases if the battery 16 discharges the rush current increasing up to a peak point and decreasing; a second expression for forming approximations of a plurality of measurement values measured by the measuring means 21-23 when the rush current monotonously decreases; and a peak point. The first computing means 24 computes for determining the second expression when the measurement values temporally decrease during computations for determining the first expression and uses the result of the computations for determining the second expression for determining the first expression when the measurement values turns from temporal decreases to increases without satisfying a prescribed number of times. Since it is thereby possible to precisely compute the first expression and the second expression and measure the peak point even in the case that a decreasing state has occurred in the rush current at monotonous increases by the effects of noise etc., it is possible to improve precision in measuring current-voltage characteristics.
