PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminate of an aromatic liquid crystal polyester resin and a metal which shows excellent dimensional stability, does not cause a curl regardless of the shape or size and gives sufficiently large adhesion strength between the metal layer and the resin layer in spite of the thickness of the metal layer and the surface roughness, and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The resin-metal laminate has such a structure that a resin layer II is laminated on one surface of the metal layer and further a resin layer I is laminated on the resin layer II. The resin layer I is a filler-containing resin layer composed of an aromatic liquid crystal polyester resin containing 20 to 50% by volume of an inorganic filler, and the resin layer II is a filler-containing resin layer containing 0 to 30% by volume of the inorganic filler, the volume ratio being 10% or more smaller than that of the resin layer I.
