<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical head device capable of easily adjusting the resistance for adjusting the output of the laser light and a manufacturing method of the optical head device. <P>SOLUTION: In the optical head device 1, a resistor circuit 10 for adjusting the laser output includes a variable resistor 11 for adjusting the output of a laser light source and a fixed resistor 12 of 0 Ω connected in series with the variable resistor 11.
