PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thrust force transmitting device for a vehicle capable of being embodied in a small construction and suppressing the cost. SOLUTION: The thrust force transmitting device for the vehicle is equipped with a cylinder rod 16 to make reciprocation and a wheel 32 as a rotary member. At the peripheral surface or inside it, the cylinder rod 16 is furnished with a stationary end as a first part 22a and a stationary end as the second part 22b. The wheel 32 is furnished with a stationary end as the third part 28a and a stationary end as the fourth part 28b. A chain as the first cable member 26a is set over between the stationary ends 22a and 28b while a chain as the second cable member 26b is set over between the stationary ends 22b and 28a, and the chains 26a and 26b are crossed in the neighborhood of the wheel 32. As the stationary ends 28a and 28b are positioned at the cylinder rod 16, the device can be embodied in a small construction.
