PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform an efficient data compression of a telegram to reduce the communication time in a system in which computers communicate with each other through a network. SOLUTION: The computer of a client 100 or a server 140 determines whether the telegram to be transmitted from one computer to the other computer is to be data-compressed by the one computer based on the data kind of the telegram or the size after data compression, and transmits the telegram data-compressed or non-compressed according to the determination result to the other computer with an identifier showing compression or non-compression.
