PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving carriage capable of automatically generating a return route only by directly instructing a going route. SOLUTION: A moving carriage 1 is provided with: a sensor 3 for detecting external environments; a route storage device 5 for storing route information up to a destination; and a travel control device 4 for controlling a travel on the basis of information obtained from the sensor 3 and the route storage device 5. The moving carriage 1 is also provided with a return route generation device 6 for generating return route information from the destination up to a start point on the basis of the route information from the start point up to the destination which is stored in the route storage device 5.
