PURPOSE: A deflection yoke for cathode ray tube is provided to decrease a consumption power of a cathode ray tube by installing a deflection yoke to the cathode ray tube for decreasing a deflecting force to an electronic beam. CONSTITUTION: A big aperture(7a) is formed to one side portion of a ferrite core(7) and a small aperture(7b) is formed to other side of the ferrite core(7). The ferrite core(7) is divided according to a long direction(X) of a big aperture (7a). The divided surface is passed in a center point of the big aperture(7a). The ferrite core(7) is divided according to a short direction(Y) of the big aperture portion(7a). The divided ferrite core(7) is installed to an external side of a separator and is fixed by a core clamp(9).
