APPARATUS, METHOD AND PROGRAM FOR CHECKING QUALITY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quality checking apparatus, method and program for checking the quality of contents using quality checking information embedded by means of electronic watermarking technology. SOLUTION: The quality checking information is embedded by watermarking in contents to be sent from a distribution server 1 to an end user terminal device 5 by an electronic watermarking device 15, and transmitted via a network 3 to the end user terminal device 5. The device 5 receives the contents, extracts the watermarked quality checking information by an electronic watermark detector 55, collects the quality checking information by a quality reporting device 57, and returns it from a data transceiver 51 via the network 3 to the distribution server 1. The server 1 determines the quality of the information by a contents quality determination device 17 based on the quality checking information received from the end user terminal device 5.
