PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food cooker for a microwave oven automatically or manually controlling a steam pressure, preventing the detachment of the fitting between a vessel body and a lid body, and eliminating boiling over. SOLUTION: This microwave cooker 10 comprises the vessel body 1, the lid body 2, and a cap 3, the vessel body 1 is provided with a body fitting part 7 in its upper part, the lid body 2 is provided with a lid body lower part fitting part 23 in its lower part and a lid body recess part 20 in its upper part, the lid body recess part 20 is provided with a lid body upper part fitting part 19 in its center and a lid body opening part 17 in the circumference of the lid body upper part fitting part 19, the cap 3 is provided with a cap fitting part 31 in its center, and the body fitting part 7 is fitted with the lid body lower part fitting part 23 and the lid body upper part fitting part 19 is fitted with the cap fitting part 31 respectively and integrated together. The two fitting parts become the automatic control mechanisms of the steam pressure, and the cap 3 is rotated to adjust the overlapping extent between the cap opening part 34 and the lid body opening part 17 so that the air inside the cooker and the exhaust extent of the steam can be adjusted from the opening part.
