PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combined machining lathe including a rotating tool main shaft with a function of shaking off chips from a turning tool after turning and machining. SOLUTION: The turning tool 30 has chips C<SB>1</SB>often left to entirely wind around the tool 30 with a cutting edge as the center. An operation of shaking off the chips C<SB>1</SB>wound around the tool 30 is performed by rotating the main shaft 20 of the tool at a tool exchanging position P<SB>2</SB>.
