PURPOSE: A roll apparatus for forming a film is provided to manufacture the film having a high-precision surface by reducing the rotary variation of a roll. CONSTITUTION: A roll apparatus for forming a film is composed of two rolls(11,21) for forming the film, bearings(12,13) for supporting the rolls, a translation driving unit(Dr1) translating the bearings and opening/closing the rolls, a rotation driving unit(Dr21) for rotating the rolls, a movable connecting unit connecting the rotation driving unit with the bearings movably, a translating unit, and a flexible torque transmitting unit. The translating unit translates the rotation driving unit with the bearings. The flexible torque transmitting unit has a flexible coupling(26), and transmits the torque of the rotation driving unit to the roll.
