PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electricity generating device which can easily start and stop the operation. SOLUTION: The electricity generating device comprises a hydrogen electrode 13, an oxygen electrode, a proton conducting film 15 formed between the hydrogen electrode 13 and the oxygen electrode 14, and a gas flow path 24 formed at hydrogen electrode 13 side, and generates the electricity depending on the hydrogen gas supplied to the gas flow path 24 and the oxygen gas supplied to the gas flow path 25, further, the electricity generating device has a blocking means blocking at least one of either the flow path 24 or the flow path 25. |
