PURPOSE: An apparatus for measuring a sound speed of an ultrasonic, a method for measuring delay time in an ultrasonic flowmeter, and a method for measuring a distance between ultrasonic transducers are provided to precisely measure the delay time and the distance between ultrasonic transducers in fluid by using the ultrasonic flowmeter. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for measuring a sound speed includes a pair of ultrasonic transducers(11) positioned in opposition to each other in order to receive and transmit an ultrasonic wave. A supporting member(20) includes a pair of walls(211,212), a connector(22), and an ultrasonic transducer coupling part for a flowmeter. The pair of walls(211,212) are positioned in opposition to each other so as to support the pair of ultrasonic transducers. The connector(22) connects the walls(211,212) with each other. A cover member(30) covers the supporting member(20) and forms a fluid receiving space filled with fluid.
