The shaft has right and left longitudinally oscillating arms (12g,12d) articulated to a wheel support (16). Each arm has a back end (14) directed towards back of a vehicle and front end (18) connected to a body of the vehicle by corresponding crossbar. An actuator (26) connects the cross bars to pivot the arms in a direction with respect to an axis that is vertical to the front end and the body. An independent claim is also included for a motor vehicle comprising a rear wheel shaft.
