<p>Provided is a tire manufacturing method using a base tire and a vulcanized tread, a tread mounting surface of the base tire being formed as a surface having curvature in the tire width and tire circumferential directions, and a cover mounting surface of the vulcanized tread being mounted onto the tread mounting surface of the base tire formed as a flat-topped surface, so as to manufacture a tire capable of exhibiting the desired design performance at a low cost by using the vulcanized tread the cover mounting surface of which is formed as a flat-topped surface. The vulcanized tread comprises a groove (9) at a tread pattern surface facing the cover mounting surface, and the circumferential and widthwise lengths of the groove (9) are shorter than a desired design value based on the difference between: the circumferential and widthwise lengths in a state when the cover mounting surface mounted onto the base tire is bent according to the curvature of the tread mounting surface of the base tire; and the circumferential and widthwise lengths in a state when the cover mounting surface is in a flat state as the flat-topped surface.</p> |
