PURPOSE:To provide an antifungal aerosol agent having a strong effect, extremely high stability and obtained from natural resources by containing an essential oil obtained from >=1 kind of Cupressaceae plant. CONSTITUTION:An antifungal aerosol agent obtained by charging a raw solution and a propellant in an aerosol container, the raw solution being prepared by dissolving, emulsifying or dispersing in a solvent an essential oil obtained by subjecting >=1 kind of Cupressaceae plant as a raw material to a steam distillation method, organic solvent extraction method, etc. The antifungal aerosol agent has extremely high stability and is used for various antifungal applications such as foods, bath rooms, rooms, refrigerators, closets, shoe boxes, carpets, straw mats, etc., to prevent their damages caused by fungi. The agent is useful for preserving foods, cosmetics, clothes, etc., and exhibits a high antifungal activity against floating fungi in air, fungi attached and walls, etc. The essential oil is available at a low price. |
