PURPOSE: A controller apparatus of an exercise machine for a game is provided to allow a user to enjoy both exercise and game by combining a game with an exercise machine and arouse more interest in using the exercise machine. CONSTITUTION: The controller apparatus(200) comprises: an input unit(210) for receiving an input signal associated with game control from a user and an effect signal from a game machine body; a control unit(230) for generating a control signal in response to the input signal or effect signal; an exercise measurement unit(220) for sensing a motion associated with the user's exercise and producing a measured value corresponding to the sensed motion; and a transmission unit(240) for transmitting the input signal and the measured value to the game machine body.
