PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxygen-based bleaching detergent composition preventing damage and discoloration of fiber even under a severe condition in wrong use, hardly causing discoloration, and having high bleaching activities. SOLUTION: The bleaching detergent composition comprises (a) a peroxide generating hydrogen peroxide when dissolved in water, (b) a water-insoluble or water-slightly soluble fiber powder selected from powder cellulose, silk powder, wool powder, nylon powder and polyurethane powder, (c) a bleaching-activating catalyst and (d) a surfactant.
