SUBTITLE DISPLAY

摘要

A subtitle display wherein the display settings such as allocation of the subtitle/text superimposition can be changed by a consistent operation system irrespective of the type of the terminal and the subtitle/text superimposition can be read even in displaying a menu or a dialog. The subtitle display enables allocation setting of a display area by using the frame function of the WWW browser by allowing a document data converting section (105) and a display data creating section (106) to display a subtitle/text superimposition. The subtitle display enables subtitle displaying on a WWW browser by using a display control section (107) and enables displaying of a subtitle/text superimposition in a video display area in accordance with the display of a menu or dialog by using display switching section (112).
