<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for scheduling the wake-up of a node and for adaptively setting a sleep period of the node in a synchronous multiple node adhoc network. <P>SOLUTION: The method is for a multiple node network. The method includes a process waking up at least one node from a sleep mode that is a low power consumption mode during at least one associated slot of a time-slotted frame.
