<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable display device in a pachinko game machine with a ball play member to reciprocate in prescribed directions, allowing a player to enjoy the unpredictable movement of pachinko balls as well as the movement of the ball play member and capable of satisfying the player by adding innovations to games and enhancing the attraction of the games. <P>SOLUTION: In the variable display device 13, an opening 19 is formed on a mounting base board 17, and a display part 13 in the front of a device body 20 is mounted on the rear side of the mounting base board to face the opening 19. The ball play member 25, which reciprocates in the prescribed directions with the weight of a pachinko ball B, is disposed in front of the display part 13a.
