PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device having a terminal for eliminating a trouble caused by static electricity. SOLUTION: This display device comprises signal lines formed on the top surface side of a substrate, an insulating film formed covering the signal lines except their terminal parts, and a conductive layer extended in the extending direction of the signal lines across the terminal parts; and it is constituted so that gaps are formed between respective sides parallel to the extending direction of the conductive layer and the insulating film and holes are formed in signal lines at parts corresponding to the gaps in the extending direction.
