PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problems: at present, there is no agent for preventing the degradation of a concrete structure due to the harmfulness of a specific metal such as nickel, and by the conventional techniques, an antibacterial agent incorporated tends to be eluted out in about a year and, even when incorporated in a large amount into concrete so as to be kept contained therein for a long time, degrades the physical properties of concrete; to provide a degradation prevention agent for a concrete structure which is friendly to the global environment, considered about its influence on human bodies, and low in cost; and to provide a degradation prevention method using the agent. SOLUTION: The degradation prevention agent for a concrete structure is produced by dispersing a fluororesin, a copper powder, a metal powder containing two metals selected from among titanium, zinc, and tin, and unhardened portland cement or mortar in water. The degradation prevention method for a concrete structure comprises applying the degradation prevention agent to the surface of the concrete structure and hardening the applied agent.
